An Old FlameAn old FlameChuck sat at a table with a glass of what appeared to be brandy in his hand. Occasionally, he looked photo cupped in his other hand. It was of his ex-partner Whithers. Chuck was quite large and handsome with a full head of jet black hair. Whithers on the other hand was a redhead and he wore a pair of glasses. Both were gay and proud of it and had been dating for sometime. That was until Whithers decided to call it off. Chuck sat there for a moment glaring at the photo thinking back of past times where he and Whithers had been dating and close. They had kissed underneath an old apple tree and had even made love to each other on several occasions. Chuck sat at the table trying his best to look away from the photograph. His head was spinning and his mind was thinking about Whithers as well as their time together as a couple. He felt himself turning away from the photo, trying his best to forgot about his old flame.""It was more than likely it was for the best that it's over, isn’t it?” He could hear himself saying out loud as he took another slip of the brandy, finishing it. Putting the photo aside, he went over to the bottle and began pouring himself another glass, trying to forget about the past. “What happened in the past should stay in the past, " he said as he slowly began pouring the brandy into the glass. Once he was done, he held it up, inspecting the liquid inside the glass before giving it a gentle spin. He smiled. All the time that he had been caught up with Whithers, he had forgotten something. How much he enjoyed his own company.

Listen, I wrote the fanfic I entered in the contest about 3 months or so ago. I just reread the contest rules and it said the entry had to be created specifically for the contest. I didn't pick that up before I entered my fanfic.  In light of that, I'd like to withdraw it from the contest.
